Myspace Graphics For Easter by CD Mohatta -

Wishing Happy Easter to friends and family must be one of the oldest traditions in the world. Easter is a very important day for Christians around the world and reminds us of the joy of resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter bunny, Easter Eggs, etc. have become apart of life for most of us. Let us find out how to wish friends and family on Easter with graphics on myspace.

    The Advantages Of Myspace Graphics

One of the advantages of the commenting on myspace is the ease of the whole thing. Most of the people have a profile on myspace and it is much easier to comment them on Easter with a lovely graphic. Only the recipient can see an ecard, where as everyone is be able to view your myspace comment. That is a real pleasure for all of us. We feel good when we find that our friends love our choice.

    Myspace Graphics- How To Select?

While selecting the graphics the first pointer is the size. The graphic should neither be very big nor too small. You don’t want to irritate your friend with oversized graphics, because an oversize graphic distorts the profile page. Oversize graphics also take more time downloading. Very small graphics get lost amongst all the other comments. Therefore it is important to select one of the medium size. Right selection and timely commenting is the key to exchanging love notes on myspace with graphics

    Design Selection-

Any good website offering myspace comments and graphics will have a large collection on Easter. You will get various themes and text. The flash ones will also have lot many effects in flash. Select the graphic according to the age of the recipient.

    Myspace Graphics- How To Add?

For most of the new members of myspace this becomes tricky. But this is very easy. Click on your friend’s profile. Watch the right side and slide down you will reach a space that says- add a comment. Copy the code of your chosen graphic and paste it there. You are done. As soon as you refresh the profile, you will see your graphic. If the graphic is in flash, your friend will have to approve it before it appears on his or her profile. Add joy to the lives of your loved ones with myspace graphics on Easter.

CD Mohatta writes text for myspace graphics and myspace comments. The site offers layouts, codes, surveys, etc. for myspace users. Do try quizzes at funquizcards.

Google - the master of Easter Eggs by David Datour

Google has big dreams - and as a big company it can even effort to put those dreams in reality. Apart from putting rather real dreams into action - like buying “YouTube” for the bargain price of $1.65bn, sometimes their fantasy runs wild.
Google is well known for their little gadgets be it to change their logo for various occasions or seasons or the equally entertaining “Easter Eggs”.

Earlier this year we heard about weird things happening to the Google templates at 3.14am sharp: the Loch Ness monster or the “Pi” symbol with the sky template at 3:14 am ( Pi = 3.14159265!!!!!) suddenly appeared on your personalized Google homepage template.

    Google Earth - Flightsimulator

Using Google Earth we can now even fly between buildings with a secret Flight Simulator that takes full advantage of Google’s extensive satellite imagery.
To access these hidden feature, open Google Earth and hit or Ctrl+Alt+A (with a capital A) if you’re using a Windows Machine. (or Command+Option+A with other hardwares)

The Google Earth Flight Simulator comes with two aircraft options, a F16 Viper and the more manageable SR22 4 plane. Players have the option of commencing the game from their current location in Google Earth or can pick from a list of pre-determined runways.

Get more information about control instructions from Google.

Overall the game is fairly simple to play, but the striking difference is flying over real images of locations.
For example you can take a quick trip from San Francisco International Airport, heading north to the Golden Gate Bridge then turn back over the city before heading towards the Valley. The software is not perfect but you can have some good fun and an (let’s say semi-professional) overview how a flight simulator works.

Fasten your seat belts and enjoy your flight!

Suggestions for Decorating Easter Eggs by Christine Steendahl

Easter is just about here and one of the fun activities to enjoy this and every Easter season is to color Easter eggs. Easter eggs are easy and enjoyable to color; you just need to emulate the following ideas.

Easter eggs usually start with hard boiled eggs, so purchase one dozen or two for embellishing. Submerge them in boiling water for about 10 minutes. The eggs will cook and become hard boiled. Now just let them dry.

The easiest way to color your Easter eggs is to acquire an Easter egg decorating kit. These kits usually include dyes to paint your Easter eggs various colors, templates or stickers to embellish and design them, and an Easter egg holder to easily allow them to dry. Most kits only cost a few dollars and are very practical.

You can also create your own colored dye. You can put together about 1 tablespoon of food coloring with 1/2 tsp. of vinegar, then add about a half cup to a third cup of water. Now just gently lower your Easter egg into the colored cup of water. The longer your egg sits in the water, usually the deeper and darker the color.

Moreover you can hand paint your Easter eggs. You can find many water color paints or other types of paints to design and decorate your eggs. Even undiluted food coloring generally works. It is important to note that you shouldn’t eat any eggs that you have used paint on.

Designing or decorating your egg is fun and easy as well. Once the eggs are hard boiled, you can secure stickers to the egg, use a brush to gracefully draw a creative design, or glue construction paper cut outs to your egg. Some people even dress their Easter eggs up with doll or handmade garments made from yarn or other kinds of fabrics.

Memory Cross Coloring Cards: Unique Christian Homeschool Easter Craft by Sheryl Frey

Are you looking for an exciting new craft for your homeschool group to do for Easter? You may want to consider memory Cross Easter Coloring cards!

A Memory Cross is a four panel interactive card that is designed origami style. They unfold to reveal selected bible verses. Most are bright and colorful and are used to share the gospel and aide in Scripture memorization.

The creator, Pastor Andy Lambert, originally intended them to be used in children’s sermons to tell bible stories. He was searching for a tool that would help capture the attention of the children and help them to memorize verses. Because he couldn’t locate anything that met this needs, he teamed up with another pastor and the owner of a printing business to create what are now known as Memory Cross cards.

For Easter, they have a product that is designed to fold like the originals, but look more like coloring book pages. It uses select bible verses to tell the Easter story. Kids will love coloring them and after they are done, they will still enjoy flipping their creation around to show off the Easter story to others.

The first panel displays Jesus on a donkey on Palm Sunday and the final panel shows His wonderful Resurrection. Even younger children, who may not yet be able to read the panels, can use this craft to remind them of the Easter story so they can tell it again and again.

After Easter, you can try the various collections of Memory Cross cards that all teach selected bible verses. There are packs that teach the Ten Commandments, the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and other collections of favorite verses! Your kids will no longer roll their eyes when it is scripture memory time!

Sheryl Frey is a Christian mom dedicated to helping others find great Christian products like Memory Cross to share their faith. She also organizes the Memory Cross Kids challenge. For more information please see http://www.memorycrosskidschallenge.com

Easter Candy Can Kill Your Pet! by D. Marie Ratliff -

For millions of families, the celebration of Easter includes Easter baskets filled with sweet treats galore — chocolate bunnies, marshmallow chicks, sugary jelly beans and snack-size versions of nearly every candy product imaginable.

As parents, we often warn our children “Now don’t eat too much or you’ll make yourself sick.” At worst, a child who stuffs him or herself with chocolate may develop nausea and a stomachache.

But for our furry friends who get into the Easter goodies, “getting sick” may be the least of it. Many of the sweet treats mentioned above can actually be fatal to dogs, cats and other small animals (such as ferrets.)

As responsible pet owners, it’s our job to protect our pets from harm. And though pet owners routinely give their companion animals human food, this is almost always a mistake.

Yes, many pets prefer to eat what we eat. Yes, household pets (especially dogs) really like sweet, sugary foods. And yes, it feels good to pamper Fido or Fluffy by giving them “just a little taste” of what we’re having for su pper. But many of the foods that humans enjoy can not only cause illness for your beloved dog or cat, they can even be fatal. And given how small a cat or dog is compared to a human, sometimes it doesn’t take much.

Chocolate is one of the most deadly foods for pets (both cats and dogs; dark chocolate is worst, white chocolate has the lowest risk). It’s not only high in fat (pets don’t need lots of fat any more than humans do), it contains two nervous system stimulants, caffeine and theobromine. The fat can make your pet vomit or cause diarrhea — unpleasant, but usually not fatal.

But it’s the stimulants that sometimes cause death. Theobromine is both a cardiac stimulant and a diuretic. A dog that ingests an overdose of chocolate may be fine at first, but will probably become excited and hyperactive within a few hours. It may pass large quantities of urine and become unusually thirsty. The theobromine will cause your pet’s heart rate to accelerate or beat irregularly, either of which can cause death (especially with exercise.)

But it’s not just chocolate that’s the problem. All sugary foods can cause dental problems, lead to obesity, and contribute to diabetes in pets, too. So be sure to keep your stash of chocolate securely out of your pet’s reach.

Children are notorious for sorting and trading candy, so make sure they don’t leave candy laying around (or candy wrappers, either, which can cause choking)

And don’t forget how flexible and persistent a pet can be when it smells something yummy in a trash bin or garage sack, either.

If you do have reason to think that your pet has gotten into the candy, call your vet and describe their symptoms. (Symptoms of chocolate toxicity are nervousness, vomiting, shaking, and overreacting to noises, touch, lights, et cetera.)

If your vet is closed, call an emergency vet center. If you don’t have one of those in your area you can call one of the national animal poison control lines such as the Pet Poison Helpline: 1-800-213-6680. (There is usually a fee for this service.)

It is up to you to make sure that Easter candy and other dangerous foods are kept securely out of the reach of your household pets — so your whole family can enjoy the holiday!
